WHAT WE DO
MISSION
We aim to bring equity in cancer screening and care for women diagnosed with gynecologic and other female centric malignancies. Our foundation empowers women affected by these cancers by providing awareness, education, support and advocacy so they are better prepared to navigate their cancer journey and share their knowledge to protect and strengthen their communities.
RESEARCH
Our research arm offers funding for clinical and research projects that improve knowledge, awareness and screening for the most common cancers affecting marginalized and underrepresented women globally.
Cervical cancer screening: as one of the most lethal cancers affecting women in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), we have funded cervical cancer screening projects in African, and the Caribbean. Our focus has been cervical cancer screening using VIA and more recently introducing primary HPV screening to facilitate ease of screening and expansion of efforts to reach as many women as possible in under-resourced regions of the world.
TRAINING
Ranee P. Flynn Global Cancer Initiative Scholarship
With the creation of the Ranee P. Flynn Global Cancer Initiative Scholarship in 2020 we are committed to supporting the training of candidates from LMICs in the field of gynecologic oncology and cancer support for women.
